Quiet living in San Miguel de Allende
Living in Mexico City, when I’m asked what I am looking for in the day I retire, I always answer that I’m interested in finding a place where it is quiet enough, but with plenty of stuff to do and enjoy. I really am used to rushing around all the time and I know that I can’t stay still for a long time, but I would definitely like something a bit more “easy going”.
One of the places to find all of this – of course – is in San Miguel de Allende.
We’ve talked a lot about the town here and I’ve mentioned so many great things about it, but here’s one more - Galería Atelier = which hosting various artists’ works and frequent exhibits – their website is continually updated.
San Miguel is also known as a great place to shop for antiques, pottery, art, and even silver, and Azul and Plata is one of the best known places to shop for silver in San Miguel.
Now, as for buying a property in San Miguel de Allende, how does a 3 bedroom home for sale under US$200,000 sound? I’d say pretty good!
