Thanks to Diane and to our very first readers.
We’re working hard to make this not only an entertaining blog – but one that’s useful and informative too.
We’d like to especially welcome all the people who’ve stuck with the News Group, Live Better Mexico, through the past couple of years. There’ve been periods of dead silence – but when ever a new voice pops up with a question, then the helpful suggestions come flying back, and it always re-news my faith in the quality of character of the people that take an interest in Mexico.
We’ll be blowing out our blog roll as we get started these first few weeks and all the competition out there is a pleasure to see. There’s more people than ever writing and writing better too.
We also want to at least mention – though soon enough it may be obvious – that we’ll also be focussing some of this blog on Mexico City not only for the curious and the travellers, but for the thousands of English language residents calling eldefe home. It’s a big place, it’s underserved in English anyway (maybe in Spanish too), and it’s fast emerging as one of the most important cultural and economic centers in the hemisphere. There are some great bloggers here, some pretty tough competition and some even better sources of information.
Again – welcome and let’s get this thing moving.
